Access Management Services

Managing access to applications, systems, password resets, email and network resources are some of the services that are organized within the Access Management Services category.

Authentication & Authorization

Network Resource Access

  • Network Drives Access and Management

This service provides access to network drive folders ensuring the ability to organize, monitor, and support access for customers.

  • Network Printer Access and Management

This service provides customers with access to printer(s) on the network, allowing a department to share a printer resource.

  • Network Shares Access and Management

ESS will work with customers to provide access to network shares, allowing departments to organize and secure information.

Password Resets

  • Mainframe Access

ESS provides access to the University mainframe allowing Illinois State employees to run reports and access business-critical information.

System Access

  • Server Access

 


E-mail Management

This is a comprehensive e-mail service which includes obtaining and setting up e-mail applications, fighting viruses and spam, managing and controlling shared e-mail accounts, and group inboxes.  This service aids with mailing lists, calendaring, storage, and additional options of desktop programs.

 

Redbird Card Administration

This service involves the hosting and administration of the card system, organizing data, and access for Redbird Cards.
